Four houses were razed by fire in Licuan-Baay, Abra with damage estimated at P1.2 million.

Based on initial investigation by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire began with a spark on the electrical line at the second floor of one of the houses.

The fire spread quickly because the houses were made of wood and it was windy at that time.

Two other houses nearby were damaged.

Residents and the community fire auxiliary group came together to put the fire out.

No one was reported hurt.
