As the scorching heat of the past weeks persists, the town of Polangui in Albay experiences a weak water supply due to the decreasing levels of water in local sources.
There are days where there is reportedly no water supply.
As of this writing, four barangays are affected by the problem.
To address this, the local government continues to ration water to the areas affected through their water trucks.
Additionally, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is also coordinating to provide water for washing, cleaning, and household use.
"Ginawa po natin ang schedule every week, alternate lang po sila, we have three vehicles na nagbibigay po ng water rationing, unang una po may maliit kaming water lorry at yung isa po yung malaking water lorry," Mayor Adrian Salceda said.
