Another marijuana plantation was discovered by authorities in the mountainous area of Aguilar, Pangasinan.
The plantation spanned approximately 2,000 square meters where around 12,600 fully grown marijuana plants worth P2.5 million were confiscated and burned.
About 250 grams of marijuana seeds were also seized.
No cultivators were found at the site during the operation.
This marks the second operation conducted by authorities against marijuana plantations in the Aguilar mountains.
Earlier in March, authorities confiscated and burned approximately 19,000 fully grown marijuana plants worth P3.8 million.
At that time, two minors tending to the plants were rescued.
