Two more respondents in the case against Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and five others for alleged child abuse surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation-Davao (NBI-11) on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

They were identified as Jackielyn Roy and Ingrid Canada who are said to be the personal assistants of Quiboloy.

Roy and Canada underwent booking proceedings.

The day before on April 3, the NBI arrested Barangay Tamayong Chairman Cresente Canada who is also a respondent in the case. Two other respondents also surrendered, Paulene Canada and Sylvia Cemañes.

The three have posted bail.

As of April 4, only Quiboloy remains at large. He was not at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City, the group's prayer mountain in Barangay Tamayong, and his resort in Samal Island when the arrest warrant was served.

The Regional Trial Court Branch 12 in Davao City issued the arrest warrant was issued on March 14, 2024 yet but Quiboloy's camp appealed to put the arrest on hold by filing a motion for reconsideration before the Department of Justice (DOJ).

However, the court did not receive any resolution from DOJ on the case within the given period.

Earlier, the national headquarters of the Philippine National Police also directed the Police Regional Office (PRO)-11 to assist the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms in serving the warrant against Quiboloy for the pastor's failure to attend the Senate investigation over the allegations of sexual abuse and human exploitation against him.
