Two mounds of the popular tourist spot Chocolate Hills in Carmen town, Bohol were hit by a fire on April 30, 2024.

In a report of GMA Integrated News, it was learned that the grassfire broke out at around 7 p.m.

Firefighters battled it out with the flames in about three hours before the blaze was put under control, citing a report of the Bureau of Fire Protection - Carmen.

The blistering heat currently sweeping throughout the country is seen as the major cause of the fire.
