A 35-year-old Bangladeshi national was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in San Pascual, Batangas.

Based on police investigation, the victim had just come from a supermarket and was on his way to a hospital where his wife was confined, reportedly, when shot by the suspects.

The victim was riding an e-bike while the suspects were on board a motorcycle.

Ernie Delos Santos, Chief of San Pascual Police Station, said.

The gunfire startled Corazon De Chavez, a vendor nearby.

“Bigla nga pong may pumutok, nagitla ako.

The police said the victim sustained gunshot wounds to his left shoulder and left jaw, with the bullet exiting through his right temple.

Investigation continues as of this writing.

Delos Santos advised the public:

"Maging aware tayo kung saan palaging involved ang motorcycle riding-in-tandem, 'yun ang mga dapat na bantayan na siyang mga nagiging suspek sa ganitong pangyayari,” he said.
