A 17-year-old student found a parcel that she did not order delivered to her house a week after her wallet went missing in Naga City, Camarines Sur.
The student, Avril Lavigne Cuya, said she does not have any record of orders in her online shopping app. When she makes an order, she would make sure to inform her family and leave money at home for payment.
“Kapag may parcel ako, sinasabi ko po kila mommy, tapos nag-iiwan ako ng pera or kapag may tumatawag sa akin na courier, magcha-chat po ako sa kanila [sa family ko] na may darating akong parcel,” Cuya said.
She was just surprised that a parcel worth P375 arrived at her house.
Cuya suspects that whoever ordered the item might have used the details in her national ID, which was in the wallet she lost.
Cuya said she already reported her missing wallet to Barangay San Francisco officials, but it had not been found yet as of this writing.
The family also appealed to anyone who may have found Cuya’s wallet to return it, even if only her national ID and exit interview slip are recovered.
