Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested after they yielded suspected shabu worth over P1 million during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ladtingan, Pikit, Cotabato.

Authorities identified the suspects as alias “JB” and alias “Saito” of Pagalungan, Maguindanao.

Confiscated from the suspects were large and medium sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 150 grams.

The suspects were put behind bars and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).

The PRO 12 will continue to work tirelessly to rid our region of lawless elements and create a safer, more secure environment for all. This achievement should serve as a clear warning that if you engage in illegal activities, you will face consequences and be held accountable behind bars,” Police Regional Office-12 Director, Brigadier General Percival Augustus Placer, said.
