At least seven people in Bicol were injured due to the effects of Typhoon Aghon, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in the region.
In Legazpi City, Albay four people were hurt when a tree fell on a tricycle they were riding. They were taken immediately to the hospital for treatment.
In Mercedes, Camarines Norte, a 53-year-old man and a 12-year-old child were injured when their house collapsed due to strong winds.
According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in Mercedes, a tornado reportedly struck the area.
All individuals injured are now in stable condition.
In Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon, a senior citizen escaped harm when a coconut tree that fell missed him narrowly.
In Masbate City, a house was also damaged by falling tree branches.
The good news is that the region did not record any casualty from the typhoon, said Gremil Alexis Naz, spokesperson of OCD Bicol.
"Wala naman tayo na reported dead or missing, and we’re very thankful po na ganon po yung nangyari," Naz said.

Meanwhile, passengers who were stranded at ports due to Typhoon Aghon have resumed their travels.
Approximately 1,484 passengers were stranded at eight ports across the Bicol Region.
On May 26, trips resumed for those stranded at the ports of Catanduanes and Tabaco City, Albay.
On May 27, about 70 passengers stranded at the Port Management Unit compound in Pasacao were allowed to sail to Burias Island.
In Vinzons, Camarines Norte, the Municipal Tourism and Heritage Operations said there are still 74 tourists staying on Calaguas Island as of this writing, awaiting clearance from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to proceed with their sea travel.
