Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Northern Mindanao seized suspected shabu worth over P1.3 million in a buy-bust operation in Cagayan de Oro City.

Members of the PDEA’s Regional Special Enforcement Team arrested a woman allegedly involved in illegal drug trade.

Seized from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 200 grams. The suspect did not issue a statement.

According to PDEA-10, the suspect had just come from Iligan City when the buy-bust was hatched.

Authorities could not say just yet, as of this writing, if the suspect is part of a syndicate or was in the illegal drug business alone.

“Hindi pa natin malaman kung ito talaga ay member ng sindikato o mag isa lang lumalakad o pinagkakatiwalaan lang totoo po na by consignment kasi ang transaksyon ay ibibigay muna ang droga at sa susunod na linggo na ang kabuuang bayad,” PDEA-10 Director, Atty. Benjamin Gaspe Jr., said.
