Three people were injured after a truck carrying a backhoe rammed into a house in a subdivision in Barangay Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.
The backhoe was used to repair a water pipeline in the area and when it was loaded onto the truck, the truck reportedly moved downhill while the driver was securing the backhoe. The truck is owned by the developer of the subdivision.
Another vehicle and a motorcycle parked beside the road were also hit.
The owner of the house was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries in the head. The driver and his helper also sustained minor injuries.
The truck driver was taken into police custody.
“Ug unsay hitabo nga sala gyud sa Kompanya dili na sila mo talikod,” Sereno added.
