A septuagenarian is one of 45 passers of the Alternative Learning System at Buntatalâ National High School in the district of Jaro, Iloilo City.
Salvacion Jurinario, 78 years old, is living her dream of pursuing her high school diploma.
She said she is overwhelmed at experiencing how it is to finally march up the stage for their graduation ceremony on May 30, 2024.
Lola Salvacion considers her teacher, Rossniño Pasaporte, as an “angel” for guiding her throughout the journey.
She said she is most thankful to the Lord for allowing the milestone to come to her despite her age.
She said it was a hard life for her, so she had to set her studies aside when she was younger.
Lola Salvacion is a native of Himamaylan City in the Province of Negros Occidental and the sixth of nine siblings.
