The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has arrested a man allegedly involved in gun-for-hire activities in Zamboanga provinces.
Authorities arrested the suspect identified as alias “Thata” in Barangay Bacolod Chico, Marawi City. He was arrested by virtue of warrants for murder issued by local courts in Iligan City last February 17, 2022 and in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur last February 12, 2018.
No bail was recommended in both cases.
CIDG said the suspect has been wanted by authorities since 2018. He was tagged as allegedly one of the most wanted persons in the country that the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) offered monetary reward amounting to P140,000 for his arrest.
