Several areas in Batangas City and Taysan will experience a 12-hour power outage on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. due to maintenance work by Batangas II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BATELEC II).
Residents of the following areas are advised to prepare for the scheduled power interruption:
Batangas City:
Barangay Sico
Barangay Talumpok (Mount Banoy)
Taysan:
Barangay Mapulo
Parts of Barangay Sto. Niño (So. Paligawan)
Parts of Barangay Piña (Conde)
Barangay Dagatan
The power interruption is necessary to relocate utility poles affected by the road widening projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and to move transformers and secondary lines.
Residents are advised to prepare accordingly.
