Two motorcycle riders died in separate road accidents in Dapitan City and Zamboanga City.
A 33-year-old woman was killed after the motorcycle she was riding hit a bus in Barangay San Pedro, Dapitan City.
Police said the woman allegedly overtook another vehicle and crashed into the bus.
She did not reach the hospital alive.
In Zamboanga City, a 15-year-old boy was killed after an elf truck loaded with fish allegedly hit the motorcycle he was riding.
Investigators said the truck and the motorcycle were both traveling in same direction along the MCLL Highway in Barangay Vitali when the truck allegedly overtook and hit the motorcycle.
The bus and truck drivers in the two incidents were both taken into police custody.
