The wife of the victim of a road rage incident in Pavia town, Iloilo Province is determined to file a case against a sports car driver accused of killing intentionally her husband.
Shiefryl, the wife, said that she will never agree to any settlement because the life of her husband bears no price tag.
The suspect was identified as Rudolph de la Rosa, alias “Bobot," a resident of Calinog town, Iloilo.
Shiefryl said it is tough to accept the death of her husband, Rave, who left to her full responsibility the care of their two-year-old children, or twins.
She said that she met Rave when she was about 12 years old. They struck a domestic relationship at an early age. She said she is hurt deeply at the loss of a partner she describes to be industrious, loving, and responsible.
Rave died after a sports car hit him and ran over him.
Shiefryl and Rave were riding on their bicycle home when the incident took place evening of June 1, 2024 in Barangay Pandac, Pavia.
The driver hit Rave intentionally and maneuvered on reverse to run over the victim three times before fleeing, according to a witness named "Jimmy."
As of posting time, Shiefryl is recuperating from the wounds she sustained.
She went through an operation on her left leg. Her medical examination showed of a blood clot in her head because of the incident. She has to move around on a wheelchair because of the injury she sustained on the left side of her body.
