A 29-year-old man was decapitated by the brother of his live-in partner in Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur.
Police said the victim and his partner had a fight, prompting the latter to leave their home and go back to her parents’ house.
The woman’s father and brother faced the victim when he tried to get his partner back.
An altercation ensued, which resulted in a fistfight. The woman’s brother hacked the victim several times and beheaded the victim.
Authorities are hunting down the suspect who fled after the incident.
The suspect will likely face murder charges.
