A fire razed a hardware store in Barangay San Antonio, Los Baños, Laguna, with the estimated amount of damages reaching P36 million.
Benjie Caca, Municipal Fire Marshal, said.
The fire also caused heavy traffic in the area.
The blaze, which started inside the store that was closed at that time, began near the supplies of paint, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Los Baños officials.
The fire reached the second alarm. At least 10 fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries or damage to other establishments.
Authorities continue to investigate the exact cause.
