Three human skulls were found in various spots of a vacant lot in Barangay Sabang, Lipa City.

It was the brother-in-law of Alexander Arcega, a resident, who stumbled upon the skulls while searching for mushrooms. Thick grass has covered the vacant lot. 

 “‘Yung isa ay nakaharap, papaganyan. 'yung ano ay nakataob eh 'yung dalawa,” Arcega said.

According to the Lipa City Police Station, it remains unknown how long the skulls had been at the site. Bones of the bodies associated with skulls were not found.

“Matagal na eh, kasi medyo 'yung iba wasak na kasi 'yung, ano, hitsura ng bungo… 'yun lang po ang nakita,” PLTCOL Rix Villareal, Police Chief, said.

The skulls have been turned over to the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) for examination. Police continue their investigation, as of this writing.

Authorities have also opened their lines of communication to whoever may reach out about the skulls.
