Construction workers in Barangay II, Daet, Camarines Norte, unearthed two vintage bombs during excavation work.
One was found near a bank and heritage center, while the other was discovered during digging for a house post.
"Natatakot na ako sabi ko, bakit ko po nirabag [tapos] tinapon sa kanila, yun pala bomba na yun... buti nalang po di po nagsabog," Mark Abrera, one of the workers who found the bombs, said.
Authorities were notified immediately to handle the safe disposal of the bombs.
They reminded the public to avoid touching or disturbing suspicious objects, as old bombs can still be dangerous and potentially explosive.
