Construction workers in Barangay III, Daet, Camarines Norte, unearthed a vintage bomb while working on a house in the area.
The 70mm vintage bomb is believed to date back to World War II, according to authorities.
According to the Camarines Norte Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Canine Unit, the bomb, despite its age, still has the potential to explode.
The police have reminded the public, especially those involved in construction activities, to report any discovery of explosives to authorities for safe disposal.

Since 2021, at least 20 vintage bombs have been found in the municipality of Daet.
