The Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) is convinced that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is hiding inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Buhangin, Davao City.

PRO-11 Director, Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III, said this is based on information gathered by their intelligence team.

“Anjan siya at ginagamit niya lang ang kanyang mga tao para i-shield siya,” Torre said. “Based on the information that we have. We are inclined to really believe na nandon siya,” Torre added.

The region’s top cop said authorities have difficulty searching for Quiboloy because the compound is wide and KOJC members are allegedly preventing them from doing so.

Torre said even 1,500 police personnel will not be enough to search for Quiboloy, and it may take a month for authorities to find him inside the compound.

“Nakukulangan pa ako sa 1,500 (personnel) kasi ganito lang. Baliktarin natin ang sitwasyon, tayo ang magtago sa loob. Gaano katagal at gaano ka raming tao ang gagamitin mo para hanapin ang mga nagtatago diyan?” Torre said.

Torre said they accept the challenge to look for Quiboloy inside the compound without guns.

“We accept the challenge on our terms, walang firearms. We will reduce this as tago-tagoan na lang. Hahanapin natin yung mga nagtatago diyan sa loob ng inyong compound,” Torre said.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is reaching out to Quiboloy’s camp for comment, as of this writing.

Torre called on Quiboloy to surrender and face the charges filed against him.

He also said they are already feeling the pressure for not being able to find Quiboloy.

“It’s really a pressure on the part of the PNP and other law enforcement agencies. Most especially ang PNP. Kami ang pinakamalaking law enforcement agencies sa bansa eh. Talagang nakakahiya. We are also listening to the public no. Nakakahiya, we cannot arrest a single person. So imagine yung pressure na nafe-feel namin,” Torre said.

The National Bureau of Investigation-Davao (NBI-11) also said the agency has already exerted its best to capture Quiboloy and his co-accused.

“Atoa naman gihimo ang tanan. Ang atong pagpaningkamot nga madakpan siya but wala man gyud so far,” NBI-11 Director, Atty. Archie Albao, said.
