A motorbanca caught fire at sea off Fuego-Fuego Island in Isabela City, Basilan evening on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
One of its three crew members sustained minor burns and was brought to the hospital.
According to the Coast Guard Station Isabela, the motorbanca came from Zamboanga City and was bound for Tampalan Malamawi, Isabela City when the incident happened.
Based on investigation, the fire started in the engine.
Coast Guard personnel responded to the area.
