Two men tagged by the police as top drug personalities in Davao region were arrested with suspected shabu worth around P4.8 million in a sting operation in Davao City.
The suspects were identified as alias “Gar,” 34 and alias “Rod,” 37.
Police considered alias “Gar” as top one high value individual in the illegal drug trade in the region while alias “Rod” was labeled as top three high value individual in Davao City.
Seized from the suspects were sachets of suspected shabu weighing almost one kilo and other non-drug items.
Authorities said the arrest of the two was a result of the cooperation and information provided by the community.
The two suspects are now detained and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
