One of the two men who robbed a gasoline station in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur was killed after he allegedly fought back against operatives.

The San Francisco Municipal Police Station said the suspects failed to get money from the gas station so they took away the cellphone of the gasoline boy, instead.

The suspects then fled on board a motorcycle.

Authorities were quick to chase the fleeing suspects until they cornered them in Prosperidad town.

One of the suspects allegedly fired shots at the police, forcing the operatives to retaliate.

The suspect who was riding in pillion was killed and the motorcycle fell to the ground. The other suspect ran to a grassy area and escaped.

Authorities recovered the motorcycle, two cellphones, and a caliber .45 pistol.

Investigators have yet to identify the slain suspect while pursuit of the other suspect is ongoing, as of this writing.
