A 67-year-old American national was found dead in his rented house in Brgy. Pamorangon, Daet, Camarines Norte. 

Local authorities discovered the body of the American national in his rented home. 

The police have not yet identified any signs of foul play.

Initial investigations suggest that the cause of death may be a heart attack, based on statements from the victim’s caregiver.

The police are coordinating with the United States (US) Embassy to notify the victim’s family about the incident.

"So far, hindi pa rin nagbibigay sa atin ng feedback if ever na may nacontact ba na nandito sa Pilipinas na kapamilya or dun mismo sa US," PLTCOL Errol Garchitorena Jr., Officer in Charge of Daet Municipal Police Station (MPS), said.

"So that is why hindi pa rin tayo makapagawa ngayon ng desisyon, unless otherwise na bigyan na tayo ng feedback ng US embassy," Garchitorena added.
