Some hotels in Naga City are already fully booked weeks ahead of the Peñafrancia Fiesta with high demand for accommodations during the Fluvial Procession and Traslacion events.
Hotels including those managed by Stephen Jason Añonuevo, such as Summit Hotel and Go Hotels Plus Naga, are fully booked for the critical dates of September 13 to 14 and September 19 to 21, which coincide with the Traslacion and Fluvial Procession events.
"Normally, medyo tumataas ‘yung price natin kasi medyo mas busy and, at the same time, ‘yung prices natin, medyo sumasabay lang din tayo sa paligid natin," Añonuevo said.
During this peak season, hotel rates in Naga City range from P4,800 to P6,000 per night, depending on the type of room.
According to the Naga City Investment and Tourism Promotions Office, most hotels and accommodations in Naga City are fully booked during the week of the Peñafrancia Fiesta.
"Nakiki-coordinate man po kami sa iba pang accommodation establishments, aside from the regular. Ta ngunyan baga, uso na itong private staycation," Reuel Oliver, Executive Director, said.
"May mga camp na sa Panicuason asin parts of Pacol. So, ini ang other establishments na pwede tang i-tap for Peñafrancia activities," Oliver added.
Villa Del Rey, located inside the Provincial Capitol of Camarines Sur, is also fully booked for both the Peñafrancia Fiesta week and the week following.
Rates here vary from P6,500 to P19,500 per night, depending on the type of accommodation, whether it be a cabana, dwelling, cabin, or villa.
