Anti-narcotics agents seized suspected shabu worth nearly P14 million and arrested two men during an anti-illegal drug operation in Luuk, Sulu.
The suspects arrested were considered high value individuals in the illegal drug activities.
Seized from the suspects were 21 sachets of suspected shabu weighing around two kilos.
The suspects are now detained at the Indanan Municipal Police Station and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangeros Drugs Act.
“I commend all the operating units that successfully foil the attempt of a large volume of distribution of illegal drugs in the Bangsamoro region that could destroy the lives of the Bangsamoro people,” PDEA-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) Director, Gil Cesario Castro, said.
