Heavy rains caused by #EntengPH has flooded Purok 3, Barangay Talibaeo in Calasiao, Pangasinan.

Floodwaters have entered several homes, forcing people to wade through water despite the risks of diseases like leptospirosis and fungal infections.

"Mababa diyan, kaya baha palagi kapag umuulan. Laging may tubig; delikado," Arcenia Barongan, a resident, said.

The flood has also made waste collection challenging in the barangay.

Garbage collectors are struggling with the heavy and wet trash.

"Syempre mabigat, mababasa ang basura, gaya ng pampers, mabigat 'yun at 'yung mga nabubulok, hindi na pwede," Peping Estrada, a garbage collector, said.

The Calasiao Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) remains on Blue Alert status as they continue to monitor the situation in low-lying barangays due to the flood threat.

"On-call ang ibang personnel — kung kailanganin natin ng additional manpower. Gayundin, patuloy ang coordination sa ating partner agencies down to the barangay level," Kristine Joy Soriano, spokesperson for MDRRMO-Calasiao, said.
