Tagum City has logged 30 dengue cases in just one week.

These cases were recorded from October 13 to 19, 2024.

According to the Tagum City Health Office, the total number of dengue cases since January 2024 has reached more than 2,000 with nine deaths.

Dengue outbreak has already been declared in the city.

Barangay Visayan Village still has the most cases, followed by Apokon, Mankilam, Madaum, and La Filipina.

Health authorities reminded the public anew to follow preventive control measures and practice the 5S habit against dengue: Search and destroy mosquito breeding sites; self-protection like using insect repellents; seek early consultation; support fogging, spraying, and misting in hot spot areas; and sustain hydration.
