A total of 5,049 individuals or 1,583 families have been accommodated across eight evacuation camps in Canlaon City, as of 11 p.m. on December 15, 2024.

In addition, at least 34 families or 100 individuals are living outside the evacuation centers, as of posting time.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Canlaon City calls on the public for donations of essential items at evacuation centers such as large cooking pots (kaldero), large pans (kawa), diapers (both for children and adults), and milk.

"To ensure proper accounting and equitable distribution to all evacuation camps, we kindly request that all donations be checked in at the Incident Command Post located at the Canlaon City Tourism Office," the LGU said via Salta Canlaon, its official social media account. 

Governor Chaco Sagarbarria visited the evacuees on December 12, 2024 for the distribution of assistance.
