To manage nighttime traffic during the holiday season and city fiesta, Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) enforcers are now working night shifts in Dagupan City.
The downtown area, where most activities happen, remains the focus of enforcers as it is where vehicle traffic builds up.
"Marami na kasing sasakyan sa gabi kaya kailangan magpa-duty talaga sa gabi," Rexon De Vera, Assistant Head of POSO-Dagupan City, said.
Both passengers and transport groups support the evening deployment.
"Mas okey para may nakabantay kapag medyo pa-traffic na," Shaina Dela Vega, a commuter, said.
Currently, over 60 POSO enforcers are stationed across Dagupan City to ensure smoother and safer traffic management during the busy season.
