Two died and two others were injured after gunmen opened fire at a sports utility vehicle (SUV) in Barangay Baseco, Mariveles, Bataan.
According to police, the victims were on their way to serve at a company when an unmarked black car began tailing them.
Upon reaching their destination, the victims parked their SUV in front of the company gate, where armed men emerged and shot them.
Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the attack and working to identify the gunmen as of this writing.
"‘Hindi po natin ma-establish if gun-for-hire po sila ['yung mga suspek] or any other motives," Lt. Col. Dennis Orbista, Chief of Police of Mariveles, said.
"‘Yung mga identity ng mga victims natin, na-establish naman na at ngayon ay ongoing naman ang isinasagawa nating investigation para matukoy ang suspek dito sa kaso," he added.
