A 17-year-old boy died after he was was beaten with a piece of wood in Davao City.
The suspects were identified as a 31-year-old garbage collector and a 33-year-old ice drop vendor.
Based on information from the suspect’s companion, they were drinking outside a bar dawn on Sunday, February 2, 2024, when the victim allegedly approached them and punched the 31-year-old suspect.
The suspects then got a piece of wood and beat the victim to death.
The suspects were arrested and were placed under police custody.
