Four family members, including a three-year-old girl, died after they were trapped inside their house that was razed by fire in Balanga City, Bataan.
According to the fire marshal, the victims were unable to escape because the metal door was locked, and the windows were secured with grills.
Authorities suspect that the fire may have started from a candle, as the house had no electricity.
Investigation into the incident continues, as of this writing.
