A 21-year-old woman was found dead with stab wounds in Barangay Tugbok Proper, Davao City.

Her body was placed in a garbage bag.

Based on initial investigation, it was a man who saw a black garbage bag by the road and decided to check what was inside it.

The man called the police when he discovered that the garbage bag contained the dead body of the woman.

The woman sustained two stab wounds in the chest.

Authorities are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, a 60-year-old woman was believed to have drowned after swimming at the river in Barangay Callawa.

Police said the woman may have been carried away by the strong current.
