Two police personnel assigned at the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (Misamis Oriental PPO) have tested positive for illegal drug use during a surprise drug test.
Misamis Oriental PPO Director, Col. Wilbur Salaguste, ordered to place the two under restrictive custody.
Salaguste added that the two police personnel are not officials.
“On restrictive custody sila para dili gyud makabuhat og mga nefarious activity ug nagpahigayon sa ilang pag-check og attendance ang atoang R1,” Salaguste said.
The two will also undergo summary proceedings and they may face administrative charges.
Salaguste assured that the investigation will be impartial.
“Usa kini sa atoang pagproseso sa cleansing sa atong ranks nga wala gyud bahid sa binuang ang atong kapulisan labi na kita kay myembro sa Philippine National Police,” Salaguste said.
