A private plane crashed in a rice field in Barangay Malatimon, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur afternoon on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Initial report said four passengers, believed to be foreigners, died.
Investigation showed residents saw the plane catching fire before it exploded and crashed.
Police said the Raytheon Beechcraft King Air 300 with tail number N349CA was carrying four passengers.
Investigation into the incident continues, as of this writing.
