State weather bureau, PAGASA, through PAGASA Southern Luzon issued Weather Advisory No. 6 at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 on heavy rainfall outlook due to the shear line affecting Southern Luzon and the Visayas regions. 

Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm):

Catanduanes, Albay, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, and Northern Samar

Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm):

Quezon, Camarines Norte, Masbate, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Capiz, Aklan, Eastern Samar, and Samar

Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm):

“Forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. Moreover, impacts in some areas may be worsened by significant antecedent rainfall,” PAGASA said.
