Travelers and motorists are advised to avoid the Tuao-Pinukpuk, Kalinga, and Apayao Road after a landslide, mudslide, and rockslide hit the area at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Light and heavy vehicles cannot pass, according to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Tuao.
Authorities are conducting clearing operations, but only motorcycles can currently pass through.
The MDRRMO-Tuao recommends using the Itawes Ferry Bridge via Lakambini in Tuao East and Pinukpuk, Kalinga, as an alternative route.
