The Aquino Center and Museum in Tarlac City has reopened after two years of renovations, allowing visitors to once again learn about the lives of former Senator Ninoy Aquino and former President Cory Aquino.
The museum features personal belongings of the Aquino family, including photographs, books, newspapers, and other memorabilia.
Its reopening also coincided with a book launch highlighting the life of former President Noynoy Aquino.
The event was held on the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, which was themed "Sama-samang Pagsulong, Lakas ng Bayan."
In line with the celebration, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led a simple program at the People Power Monument, including a flag-raising ceremony, wreath-laying, and a choral performance of "Bayan Ko."
The NHCP said it is important to remember the revolution, which restored democracy in the country.
