A shuttle bus carrying workers crashed into a water pipe and plunged into a cliff at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Morong, Bataan.
The bus was traveling uphill in Barangay Mabayo when the accelerator reportedly malfunctioned.
Leo Angelo Loyola, investigator of the Morong Municipal Police Station, said.
This caused the vehicle to roll backward uncontrollably before veering off the road.
Four employees on board sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
Authorities reminded drivers to always check their vehicles before traveling to prevent similar accidents.
