Supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte gathered in Dagupan City, Pangasinan for a prayer rally that called for Duterte’s return to the country.

Attendees from various towns and cities in the province are opposing Duterte’s arrest and the charges against the former President before the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Aside from saying prayers, supporters signed a solidarity wall.

Duterte was arrested in connection with his deadly drug war that reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 6,000 people.

In a report by GMA News Online, other supporters from other parts of the country also gathered on Sunday, March 16.

In Metro Manila, Duterte supporters showed their support via a motorcade from Manila to Quezon City.

In Davao City, an estimated 30,000 people marched the streets during the 88th "Araw ng Davao" to show support for Duterte.
