Two ash emission events that spanned from 13 to 58 minutes long were recorded on Mount Kanlaon in Negros Island within a 24-hour observation period on March 26, 2025.

Ten volcanic earthquakes were also recorded, according to an advisory of DOST-PHIVOLCS.

On March 25, 2025, sulfur dioxide flux was recorded at 2,365 tons per day, while a 750-meter-tall plume was observed that moved west-southwest and southwest drift.

The volcano edifice is inflated, or ground deformation is apparent.
