Illegal drugs worth over P59 million were confiscated in March 2025, through the Anti-Drug Campaign of Police Regional Office (PRO) 6, that led to the arrest of a total of 301 drug suspects in areas in Western Visayas.

Based on the data of PRO 6, a total of 242 anti-drug operations resulted in the confiscation of a total of 8,681 grams of illegal drugs worth a total of P59.42 million; and 3,161 grams of marijuana worth approximately P379,000.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office recorded the highest number of drug suspects arrested at 105.

Iloilo City Police Office logged 69, while Bacolod City Police Office recorded 50 arrests.

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office recorded the highest amount of illegal drugs haul at P25.6 million, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office at P17.8 million, and the Bacolod City Police Office at P7.89 million.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspects.
