A man who worked at a machine shop in General Santos City died after his co-worker struck him in the head with a hammer.

Police said the suspect may have been enraged and had lost his patience altogether because the victim allegedly kept on bullying him.

The two would always reportedly figure in an argument.

“Base sa atong nakuha nga mga information sa mga kauban nila mismo sa trabahuan, pirminte daw ni gagalis ang duha… kining maong biktima, always ginasungog ang maong suspek, or gina-bully kumbaga,” Police Station 5 Commander, Major Wesley Matillano, said.

The suspect escaped after the incident. He may face homicide or murder charges.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is reaching out to the shop owner and family of the victim for a statement, as of this writing.
