Two people were killed in separate operations in Maguindanao del Norte and Sultan Kudarat.

According to the 6th Infantry Division (6ID), one of the fatalities was an alleged member of an armed group involved in criminal activities in Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Police and troops of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-5 seized a shotgun, pistols, grenade, ammunition, and handheld radios from the area.

Meanwhile, an alleged rebel was killed in an armed encounter in Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

Based on reports, troops of the 7th Infantry Battalion launched an operation after receiving information from residents that an armed group was allegedly extorting money from farmers, businessmen, and candidates in the 2025 midterm elections.

The military confiscated an M16 rifle from the slain NPA combatant.
