A 51-year-old fisherman was shot dead at his house in Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.
Police said the victim was sitting on the balcony when the assailant approached and shot him three times.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds in the stomach and hand. He did not reach the hospital alive.
Authorities are eyeing land dispute as motive behind the killing.
