The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Pualas, Lanao del Sur has removed nearly 3,000 alleged flying voters from the voters list a few weeks before the 2025 midterm elections.

This after the court issued an exclusion order following the proceedings since December 2024.

Pualas election officer, Arang Bato, said they received the court order to delist the alleged flying voters on February 27, 2025.

It can be recalled that more than 3,000 people were summoned by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of Ganassi to answer the petition for exclusion.

At present, the town of Pualas has over 16,000 registered voters.

“It’s not the fault of the COMELEC. What we are going to implement is the order issued by RTC to the Commission on Elections,” Bato said.
