Two separate anti-drug operations in Angeles City and Bataan led to the seizure of over P1.5 million worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of two suspects, authorities said.
In Angeles City, police arrested a 27-year-old high-value target during a buy-bust near San Nicolas Market in Barangay San Nicolas.
Officers recovered three plastic sachets containing about 50 grams of suspected shabu, worth an estimated P340,000.
In Limay, Bataan, another buy-bust in Barangay Reformista led to the arrest of a 28-year-old sound system operator.
Police confiscated 175 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1.19 million, along with marked money used in the transaction.
Charges have been filed against both suspects, who have yet to release official statements.
